Liontek emerged as a reimagined version of CAO IT SERVICE, driven by a vision to modernize and innovate IT solutions. With Max at the helm, the company transitioned from its original form, adopting new technologies, fresh ideas, and a client-centric approach to better serve businesses in the evolving digital landscape. Here is our origin story:
2012: Arrive in Canada
The story begins with the arrival in Canada, bringing a wealth of IT expertise and a passion for helping businesses thrive through technology.
2014: CAO IT SERVICE Opens
CAO IT was established as the first step in providing reliable and efficient IT services to local businesses, quickly gaining trust and recognition in the community.
CAO Operated for 10 Years
For a decade, CAO IT SERVICE successfully delivered tailored IT solutions to the Kelowna BC and surrounding areas, helping businesses streamline their processes and adopt cutting-edge technologies.
2015: Max Works Alongside Michael
Max began his journey in IT by working closely with his father, Michael, gaining invaluable hands-on experience and deep knowledge of the industry. This mentorship laid the foundation for Max’s expertise and passion for delivering innovative IT solutions.
2022: New Innovations
Max, slowly but surely, began putting his unique spin on IT services, exploring innovative approaches and embracing new ways of solving challenges. Now, he’s taking it a step further by building his own AI, showcasing his commitment to pushing the boundaries of technology.
2023: Max Takes Over and Rebrands as LionTek
With a fresh perspective and a drive for innovation, Max took over the reins, rebranding the company as Liontek to mark a new chapter focused on modern IT transformation and client-centric solutions. His brother, Ludwik, will also be contributing bringing additional expertise and support to the company’s mission.
Our Story: Max's Passion for Computers & the Birth of Liontek
I still remember the day I opened COMPUTER A&O GmbH, my own IT company. It was my dream, my passion. But little did I know, it would also become the foundation for my son Max’s journey.
Max was just six years old when he began spending time in the technical area of the company. He would watch, wide-eyed, as my employees carefully assembled computers, piece by piece. There was something magical about the way he observed—his curiosity was endless. He wasn’t just watching; he was absorbing. Even at that young age, he had this natural fascination with how all the components came together to create something extraordinary.
One day, Max decided to do more than just watch. I’ll never forget it. He started running around the technical area, gathering parts with a determination that was far beyond his years.
Piece by piece, he tried to assemble his own computer. It wasn’t easy for him; he struggled to figure out where the hardware went, but he didn’t give up.
And then, the moment came. He turned it on—and it worked. The computer actually turned on.
I can still see him, that little six-year-old boy, sprinting through the office like a bat out of hell, shouting for me to come and see what he had done. He was so proud, and so was I.
Everyone in the office gathered around, curious and amazed. It wasn’t just that he built the computer—it was the passion and persistence he showed that left us all in awe.
From that day on, Max became more involved. He wanted to learn everything—how things worked, why they worked, and how to make them better. His understanding of technology grew at an incredible pace, and honestly, it was inspiring to watch. It wasn’t just about the machines for him; it was about solving problems, creating solutions, and constantly pushing boundaries.
Now, seeing Max flourish and take over as LionTek fills me with so much pride. He’s taken everything he learned and made it his own. His love for technology, his innovative spirit, and his relentless drive have shaped him into the person he is today. Watching him grow, learn, and now lead—it’s been the greatest privilege of my life.
